But soon she'll be as good as new!
Hey guys, Nelia took Blue to the vet today and got her some medicine to take twice a day (Britain and Samantha will take care of that). She also had bleeding gums, which are also being treated and may have been the cause of the blood Nansi saw in her (achem) vomit.
She's definitely on the mend, poor little whisp of a thing! Thanks to all for flagging her state - she was hiding away so much! A lesser troupe of volunteers might have missed it. So KUDOS to Nansi, Tracie & Katya, and big thanks to Nelia, Samantha & Britain!
The vet said little Blue needs to be in a home with fewer cats or she will keep getting sick. So we are looking for a foster/adopter for her. She would definitely like to have a cat friend, so it doesn't need to be a place with no cats, or they could take Blue and one of her garage friends. Please spread the word!
ReplyDeleteI can give you a list of supplements to handle the stomatitis. Our stomatitis kitty is still well after many months.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with her otherwise?
They didn't actually say it is stomatitis, just gingivitis. I guess she needs a dental for sure. Otherwise, she just has an upper respiratory infection, sort of a chronic one, although flaring up at the moment.
